What Our Participants Say

NH

Nurul Hana Zulkifli

Petaling Jaya, Selangor

"I enrolled in the Overture programme not knowing what to expect. The workbook format suited me β€” I could go at my own pace and annotate as I went. By the end, I had a clear picture of where my money was going each month. That clarity was what I had been missing for years."

Koh Wei Ming

Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

"The Second Movement programme changed how I read financial news. Before, I would glance at headlines and feel vaguely unsettled. Now I have a framework for what matters and what is noise. The Bursa-specific content was particularly useful β€” it is not something you find in standard financial education materials."

Ravi Subramaniam

Subang Jaya, Selangor

"I am in my mid-fifties and wanted to understand my EPF options properly before making any decisions. The Finale programme was thorough without being overwhelming. The facilitator session I had was particularly valuable β€” she answered questions I had been sitting with for months."

Lim Yoke Fong

Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

"What I appreciated most was the absence of any product recommendations. Every other financial course I had attended turned into a sales presentation. Here, the material was purely educational. I trusted the content more as a result."

Faizal Abdul Rahman

Shah Alam, Selangor

"I took all three programmes over eighteen months. The way they build on each other is something you notice only in retrospect β€” the Finale made much more sense because I had done the earlier two. The estate planning module in particular raised topics I had not considered at all."

Thangeswari Murugiah

Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

"The recorded sessions are well made. The pacing is calm β€” not rushed to fit everything into a two-hour webinar. I revisited two of the sessions from the Second Movement multiple times. That kind of material rewards attention."

Participant Journeys

NH
Nursyazwani Hamdan

The Challenge

As a secondary school teacher in her thirties, Nursyazwani found herself contributing to EPF each month without any understanding of what would actually be available to her at retirement.

The Approach

She began with the Overture programme to establish financial clarity, then proceeded to the Finale programme the following year to focus specifically on retirement and estate planning.

The Outcome

She now meets with her licensed financial planner quarterly with specific questions rather than general anxiety. She reports that the EPF module changed her understanding considerably.

"I had been sitting on the same financial worry for eight years. The programme did not solve it β€” but it gave me the language to address it properly."

CW
Chan Wei Jun

The Challenge

A software engineer in his late twenties, he had been following financial content online and found much of it contradictory and often oriented toward foreign markets.

The Approach

He enrolled directly in the Second Movement programme, which was suited to someone with some existing curiosity but no structured base of Malaysian market knowledge.

The Outcome

Within two months of completing the programme, he was able to evaluate his existing unit trust holdings against the criteria covered in the course and have a more substantive conversation with his bank relationship manager.

"I finally have a filter for the financial information I encounter online. The Malaysian context made all the difference."

ZA
Zarina Abdul Aziz

The Challenge

In her early sixties, widowed, she needed to understand the estate and legacy planning implications for her family β€” including hibah arrangements that had not been properly documented.

The Approach

She completed the Finale programme and used the individual facilitator sessions specifically to work through estate planning questions relevant to her situation.

The Outcome

She subsequently engaged a lawyer to formalise documents she had not known she needed. She has since referred two family members to the Alderwyn Brook programme.

"This is the first time I felt the education was designed for someone in my actual situation β€” a Malaysian, older, with a family to think about."
